According to British media citing people familiar with the matter, the UK is considering delaying the ban on the sale of new gasoline and diesel cars from 2030 to 2035.
British Prime Minister Sunak is expected to give a speech in the next few days, which will also include relaxing several relevant measures as well as policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
It is reported that Sunak is not expected to go against the government's main goal written into law in 2019, which is to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
