Guilin, Guangxi: Implementing "easing mortgage rules for first-time home buyers", and buyers of new houses will be provided financial subsidies based on 100% of the deed tax amount

Recently, Guangxi Guilin Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau and other seven departments jointly issued the Notice on Promoting the Stable and Healthy Development of Guilin's Real Estate Market (hereinafter referred to as “the Notice”). The notice proposes that individuals who purchase new commercial housing in Liucheng District and Lingchuan County of Guilin City and complete the online signing, registration, and filing of commercial housing contracts, and deed tax payment will be given financial subsidies based on 100% of the deed tax paid (50% of which is cash subsidy, 50 % is special consumption coupon). The criteria for determining the number of housing units in personal housing loans will be optimized. When a resident family (including the borrower, spouse, and minor children) applies for a loan to purchase commercial housing, the family members do not have a complete set of housing in areas such as Wucheng District, Lingui District, or Lingchuan County in Guilin, financial institutions should provide mortgage loans to buyers in accordance with first-home loan policies regardless of their previous credit records.
