SHANGHAI, August 4, (SMM)-
Some iron ore concentrate producers in Tangshan chose to ship goods at a suitable price amid apprehension of outlook market. At present, as most beneficiation plants only met orders, iron ore supply remained tight, and spot inventory was low, while demand from steel mills appeared good on the backdrop of production restriction-related policies for BFs and sinter units. With sustained loss in imported iron ore prices, cost-performance ratio of domestic ones decreased. It is expected that iron ore prices in Tangshan will move downwards in the near future.
