Operating Rate Of Zinc Oxide Enterprises Rose Last Week

According to SMM survey, the average operating rate of zinc oxide enterprises was 64.8% last week, up 0.9 percentage point from the previous week. In terms of raw materials, the price of zinc did not changed much during the week, and it was relatively difficult to purchase zinc slag. Enterprises basically purchased as needed, reducing raw material inventories.

The performance of orders in various sectors was relatively stable. But affected by market competition, the performance of orders was mixed among different enterprises. Prices of zinc oxide finished products could hardly rise. Tyre-related orders weakened. The overall growth in orders for zinc oxide was limited. The operating rates are expected to remain at the current level this week.
