Weekly review and forecast for lithium battery electrolyte

SHANGHAI, Jun 26 (SMM) – Electrolyte prices remained unchanged. Core raw materials, including lithium hexafluorophosphate (LiPF6) and solvents, displayed consistent pricing. So did lithium carbonate/lithium fluoride (LiPF6's raw materials). Tight supply expectations for lithium carbonate in June and July meant prices were unlikely to drop; however, downstream companies' low acceptance of high-priced lithium carbonate kept prices stable. Costs underpinned LiPF6 prices, which remained consistent. Given the current steadiness in raw material prices, which was correlated with electrolyte prices, electrolyte prices are expected to remain stable for the near term.
