According to Canalys, an analysis agency, China's automobile export volume has been rising since 2020. In 2022, China surpassed Germany to become the world's second largest automobile exporter, with a year-on-year increase of 55.3%. In the first quarter of 2023, China surpassed Japan to become the world's largest automobile exporter, with the growth of NEV (new energy vehicles) exports being the core reason for the overall export growth of automobiles. Canalys predicts that by 2023, China's total automobile export volume is expected to reach 4.4 million, with NEVs accounting for over 30% of the total.
