Pure Nickel Social Inventory Dropped 1,229 mt WoW

SHANGHAI, May 22 (SMM) - Pure nickel inventory in six regions across China dipped 1,229 mt from a week ago to 3,972 mt as of May 19. The inventory of nickel briquettes was 150 mt, down 160 mt WoW, and that of nickel plates was 3,822 mt, down 1,069 mt WoW. Spot transactions picked up last week on crashing nickel prices, and the imports were expected to drop. In addition, the downstream companies restocked some nickel briquettes, driving down the stocks.
