Coking Coal Prices To Remain Under Downward Pressure

SHANGHAI, Apr 19 (SMM) – Coking coal market: The prices low-sulphur main coking coal in Lvliang dipped 90 yuan/mt to 2,060 yuan/mt yesterday, while those in Linfen and Tangshan were unchanged at 2,100 yuan/mt and 2,270 yuan/mt respectively. The shipments of some mines have improved following the price cuts, but the overall demand remained poor. Coal mines maintained stable production. With the inventory of some types of coal still building up, their offers may be cut further.
