Last week, the SMM average domestic electric battery scrap price rose by 25 yuan/mt from a week earlier. The price increase of battery scrap (black shell) was even larger, with the average purchase price in Henan up 70 yuan/mt from a week earlier.
With decreasing supply, smelters in Anhui said that the average daily arriving shipments of battery scrap have been falling, and were sometimes even less than 100 mt.
