Growing Supply And Weak Demand To Shore Up Short-Term Copper Concentrate TCs

SHANGHAI, Apr 13 (SMM) - SMM expects growing supply and weak demand from smelters to shore up TCs in the future. Since late March and early April, some smelters, such as China Daye Non-Ferrous Metals, Xinjiang Wuxin Copper Industry, Jiangxi Copper Corporation’s Headquarters, Tongling Jinguan, and Qinghai Copper, have undertaken maintenance. Meanwhile, port capacity in South America has continued to recover, and the production at overseas mines has been improving.
