Major Alumina Refinery in Shandong Raises Caustic Soda Prices for the Second Time in April

SHANGHAI, Apr 6 (SMM) - A major alumina refinery in Shandong province hiked its caustic soda purchase prices for the second time in April. The refinery raised liquid alkaline (32% ion membrane) purchase prices by 50 yuan/mt to 820 yuan/mt (ex-factory), or 2,562.5 yuan/mt on a 100% concentration basis. The two rounds of price hike amount to 250 yuan/mt.
