Newton Investment Management: High Inflation May Continue

Newton Investment Management portfolio manager Paul Brain said that in the next few years, the increase of global prices will continue to accelerate, and investors should be prepared for this. And this situation will eventually force central banks to raise their inflation targets to 3%.  A rise in target inflation would thus be a key policy turning point for the Fed, ECB and BoE, and could shock investors who bet policymakers remain committed to keeping inflation at 2%.
