SHANGHAI, Apr 4 (SMM) - On the supply side, the significant increase in profits and low inventory encouraged coking company to produce stably. On the demand side, most steel mills purchased as needed due to the high raw material inventory. On the cost side, most coal prices in Shanxi and Inner Mongolia have dropped sharply, but prices in Hebei and Shandong were still temporarily stable with downside potential. To sum up, the coke prices may weaken this week amid falling cost and weakening demand.
