Operating Rates across Smelters of Secondary Lead Up amid Work Resumption

SHANGHAI, Apr 4 (SMM) - The operating rates across smelters of secondary lead in Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan and Guizhou averaged 45.84% last week, up 0.69 percentage point on the week. The overall output stabilised at 59,000 mt, a slight increase of 1,400 mt compared with the previous week. Many smelters, such as Anhui Tianchang, a smelter in Inner Mongolia and a smelter in Jiangxi, resumed production last week, binging a slight increase in the output. In the follow-upstage, more smelters will carry out maintenance. Among them, a smelter in Anhui will carry out maintenance in early April, and a smelter in Jiangxi will suspend production and have technical renovation in early April, which will bring more reductions in output this week.
