According to NHK, the Japanese government cabinet meeting decided on March 31 to extend the measure to revoke Russia's Most-Favored-Nation (MFN) trade status until the end of March 2024. In April 2022, Japan decided to implement sanctions against Russia and revoke Russia's MFN status by amending relevant laws, as well as raised tariffs on some commodities imported from Russia.
