PMI for Construction Sector in March Fell

SHANGHAI, Mar 30 (SMM) - The PMI for the construction sector stood at 50.75 points in March, down 2.43 points on a monthly basis and 1.94 points on a yearly basis. The seasonally-adjusted composite index stood at 44.02 points, down 18.05 points month on month and 1.03 points year on year. The index for production stood at 51.47, down 4.20 points on a monthly basis and 2.70 points on a yearly basis. The index for new orders fell 1.28 points month on month and 1.84 points year on year to 50.85. Enterprises kept 10.20 days of raw material inventories on average, up 0.04 day from the previous month. The number of days of raw material inventories is for reference only as the survey sample may have changed.
