SHANGHAI, Mar 20 (SMM) – Aluminum production was disrupted in the first quarter of this year. Production in south-west China may resume in the second and third quarter with the arrival of rainy season under optimistic forecast, but may be cut again in the fourth quarter. SMM predicts that China’s aluminum output will rise 3% YoY to 41.29 million mt in 2023.
