Global Iron Ore Shipments Fell 1.3% Week-on-Week to 31.05 Million mt during March 11-17

SHANGHAI, Mar 20 (SMM) - SMM statistics showed that the global iron ore shipments totalled 31.05 million mt in the week ending March 17, a decrease of 1.3% week-on-week.

The major mining companies shipped a combined 20.99 million mt of iron ore last week, a drop of 999,000 mt from a week earlier.

Iron ore arrivals at Chinese ports dropped 11.31% on a weekly basis to 21.02 million mt last week.
