Downward Space of Prebaked Anode Prices in Mar to Narrow

SHANGHAI, Mar 14 (SMM) - Prebaked anode benchmark price has been lowered for four consecutive months, with a cumulative decline of 1,305 yuan/mt. The raw material prices fell somewhat, and aluminium companies reduced their purchases, suppressing the prebaked anode prices. However, the overall costs still stood high despite the fall in prices of low-sulphur and low-vanadium petroleum coke. It is expected that the downward space of prebaked anode prices will be limited.
