The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) released the 2022 National Economic and Social Development Statistical Bulletin on February 28. According to preliminary calculations, the annual GDP was 121.02 trillion yuan, an increase of 3.0% over the previous year.
The added value of the primary industry was 8.8 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.1% over the previous year; the added value of the secondary industry was 48.3 trillion yuan, an increase of 3.8%; the added value of the tertiary industry was 63.87 trillion yuan, an increase of 2.3%.
