Average Price of Nickel Fall from the Previous Trading Day

SHANGHAI, Feb 27 (SMM) - On February 27, premiums of Jinchuan nickel were 5,500-6,000 yuan/mt. The average premium stood at 5,750 yuan/mt, down 400 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. NORNICKEL nickel was quoted at premiums of 3,400-3,800 yuan/mt, with an average premium of 3,600 yuan/mt, down 300 yuan/mt from a day ago. Affected by the weak demand and the delivery of SHFE 2303 nickel, spot were mediocre today. The prices of nickel briquettes were 200,400-202,100 yuan/mt, down 650 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. Nickel briquette trading was poor as the prices were still higher than the nickel sulphate prices.
