China Rebar Stocks down 1.1% on Week

SHANGHAI, Feb 24 (SMM) – The total inventory of rebar across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 11.98 million mt as of Thursday February 23, down 128,400 mt or 1.1% from a week ago, and down 4.7% from the same period last year.

The inventory across social warehouses was 8.34 million mt, up 42,300 mt or 0.51% on the week, and a drop of 10.4% on the year.

The in-plant inventory stood at 3.64 million mt, down 170,700 mt or 4.5% on the week, and up 11.6% on the year.
