Due to soaring inventory, poor sales and declining profits, Magna Chip has decided to shut down its Gumi plant in South Korea for one week since February 25. The factory mainly produces power management ICs and has a production capacity of 40,000 pieces of ICs per month based on the input volume of 8-inch wafers.
