SHANGHAI, Feb 20 (SMM) - SMM statistics showed that the global iron ore shipments totalled 27.02 million mt in the week ending February 17, an increase of 7.8% week-on-week.
The four major mining companies shipped a combined 19.17 million mt of iron ore last week, an increase of 1.88 million mt from a week earlier.
Iron ore arrivals at Chinese ports dropped 1.06% on a weekly basis to 28.52 million mt last week.
