The data showed that the adjusted net profit for the whole year of 2022 reached a record high of $36.2 billion, twice the level of 2021. Since the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the prices of oil and natural gas have ballooned for most of 2022, and the overall profit level of the traditional energy industry has surged.
