SHANGHAI, Dec 3 (SMM) - MIIT issued the document of "14th Five-Year Plan for Industrial Green Development" and proposed to expand green and environment-friendly strategic emerging industries.
The aim is to create a new engine for industrial development with low energy consumption, less environmental pollution, high added value, and strong market demand, and accelerate the development of new energy, new materials, NEVs, smart ships, environmental protection, high-end equipment, energy electronics and other emerging industries in an effort to drive the development of the entire economy and society along green and low-carbon road. It also strives to promote the integration, clustering, and ecological development of strategic emerging industries in the green manufacturing field, empower a group of leading enterprises, and cultivate a group of specialised and new giant enterprises and single-sport champion enterprises in the manufacturing industry.
