Lubei Chemical Industry: the annual output of 100000 tons of rutile titanium dioxide has been relocated to the park and the comprehensive technical transformation project has been put into production.

On the evening of November 29th, Lubei Chemical announced that the annual output of 100000 tons of rutile titanium dioxide invested by Shandong Jinhai Titanium Resources Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shandong Lubei Chemical Co., Ltd., and the comprehensive technical transformation project has completed the main construction and equipment installation, commissioning and entered the commissioning stage in October 2021. At present, the project has been officially put into production.

Jinhai Titanium Industry has an annual output of 100000 tons of rutile titanium dioxide moved into the park and the comprehensive technical transformation project adopts mature sulfuric acid production process, which has high comprehensive production efficiency and low energy consumption. All the equipment of the project is localized, and the level of process technology, equipment selection and automatic control is in the leading level in the industry. The total investment of the project is 819 million yuan, and the construction equipment mainly includes more than 30 processes, such as grinding, acidolysis, hydrolysis, calcination, post-treatment, titanium reduction and so on. After reaching production, the project can co-produce with the company's existing titanium, sulfur, phosphorus and calcium to achieve a high degree of agreement with the industrial chain of circular economy.

After the project reaches production, the annual production capacity of rutile titanium dioxide can be increased by 100000 tons, which will increase the production capacity of titanium dioxide to more than 200000 tons per year, which will help to further improve product competitiveness and market share, enhance profitability, and consolidate the company's position in the titanium dioxide industry.
