On June 5, Hefei Lixiang Battery Technology Co., Ltd. and the Economic Development District Management Committee of Yichun City, Jiangxi Province held a contract signing ceremony for Lixiang Yichun project.

According to the agreement, Hefei Lixiang will build a lithium battery structure project in the Economic Development District of Yichun City, with a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan and an annual production capacity of 500 million sets of aluminum shells and covers by stages. Among them, the investment in the first phase is about 1.2 billion yuan, with an annual production capacity of 200 million sets of aluminum shells and covers, and the later stage investment will be completed within 5 years, with an annual output of 500 million sets of aluminum shells and covers after reaching production. After the first phase of the project reaches production, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of 1 billion yuan. After all the projects reach production, the annual output value is expected to be about 3 billion yuan. The project land is 190 mu, of which the first phase of the project is 100 mu. Construction will start within 2 months after obtaining the "Land approval for Construction Project", and it will be completed and put into production within 12 months.

According to the official website of Hefei Lixiang, the company was founded in 2010 and is a professional manufacturer of aluminum shell and cover of power battery. it has built five major production bases of Hefei Lixiang, Kunshan Lixiang, Qingdao Lixiang, Lujiang Lixiang and Anhui Lixiang, with an annual output of 200 million sets of aluminum shell covers, ranking first in the single output industry. In addition, the company has also set up three joint ventures of Anhui Sixiang, Dongguan Lixiang and Jiangsu Xingrong, which are about to achieve mass production. It is reported that the company's customers include Ningde era, Guoxuan Hi-Tech and other power battery enterprises.
