On May 3, 2021, the European Commission announced that the anti-dumping measures on (Aluminium Road Wheels) of aluminum alloy wheels originating from or imported from China will expire on January 25th, 2022. Enterprises from EU member states may submit a written application for sunset review of the case to the European Commission within 3 months from the date of this announcement to the above-mentioned expiration date. The EU CN (Combined Nomenclature) codes of the products involved are ex 8708 70 10 and ex 8708 70 50, and the EU TARIC codes are 8708 70 10 10 and 8708 70 50 10.
On August 13, 2009, the European Union launched an anti-dumping investigation on aluminum alloy wheels originating in China; on October 28, 2010, the European Union made a final ruling on the case. On October 27th, in response to the application submitted by the European Hub Manufacturers Association ((the Association of European Wheels Manufacturers)) on July 16, 2015, the European Commission conducted the second anti-dumping sunset review investigation on aluminum alloy wheels originating from or imported from China. On January 24, 2017, the European Commission announced that it would make a final anti-dumping sunset review of aluminum alloy wheels originating in China.
