Pudong New area said: this morning, the fever clinic of Pudong New area people's Hospital reported a suspected case of COVID-19, which was reviewed by the municipal CDC and found that the nucleic acid test was positive. Combined with clinical, imaging findings and laboratory nucleic acid test results, COVID-19 was diagnosed as a confirmed case. The relevant departments of the city and district took immediate action to form a team of joint epidemic survey experts to comprehensively carry out epidemiological investigation and track down relevant personnel. Case Wang, a 51-year-old male, rode an electric bicycle to the fever clinic of Pudong New area people's Hospital at 13:45 on November 8, with a body temperature of 37.5 degrees and multiple ground glass in both lungs on CT. The case was held in the fever clinic of the hospital for isolation and observation that night according to the standard procedure. On the morning of the 9th, after expert consultation, it was transferred to Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center for isolation and treatment.
The case reported that he had been engaged in handling work at the cargo terminal of the Aviation Department in the west of Pudong Airport since April 8 and had not left Shanghai so far. It was reported that there was no history of living in medium-and high-risk areas within 14 days before the onset of the disease, no history of contact with novel coronavirus infection, and no history of consultation by other medical institutions in the past 3 months.
The case lived in Yingqian Village, Jiangzhen Community, Zhuqiao Town, Pudong New area. Epidemiological investigation showed that, in addition to the workplace, the case visited places such as Baipinhui in Jiangzhen, Wanxia Road vegetable Farm in Jiangzhen, and Social Security Center on Miaojing Road within 14 days. At present, the above places have been closed management and final disinfection.
As of 17:00 on 9 November, 26 close contacts were found in the case, including family members and colleagues at work. At present, centralized isolation medical observation has been implemented and the first nucleic acid sampling has been completed. The nucleic acid test results of 23 close contacts were negative, of which 4 family members were all negative, 16 colleagues were all negative, and 3 market-related personnel were negative. The other three market-related personnel are still waiting for the test results.
181 close contacts have been detected, of which 106 have implemented centralized isolation medical observation, and the remaining 75 are in closed-loop transport.
At present, the food, articles and environment of the relevant places have been sampled, a total of 462 samples have been collected, 127 nucleic acid tests have been completed, and the results are all negative.
In the next step, we will continue to do a good job in epidemiological investigation, traceability and nucleic acid testing of relevant personnel, strictly implement the responsibility of territorial prevention and control, and do a good job in closed-loop management and various epidemic prevention work.
The Municipal Health Commission said: at present, the third Expo is under way. At the previous press conference, the relevant situation of epidemic prevention and control of the Expo was introduced, mainly focusing on the three key points of "people, objects, and pavilions," keeping a close eye on six key links, such as entering the city entrance, residence, mobility, exhibition hall doors, activity points, and monitoring posts, and implementing five measures such as "full closed-loop management, full chain traceability, full nucleic acid testing, full inspection access, and comprehensive environmental clearance." At present, the epidemic prevention and control work of the third Expo is stable and orderly. As of November 8, a total of 1.22 million people entered the library for security inspection, and all personnel held and uploaded valid nucleic acid test negative reports within 7 days. The on-site work team is composed of epidemic prevention professionals. The environment of the pavilion was monitored and sterilized every day, and a total of 764 environmental monitoring samples were collected, all of which were negative, with a total disposal area of 24000 square meters.
According to the current survey, the patient has not been exposed to frozen food recently, and his work and action track before diagnosis have nothing to do with the third Expo.
According to the relevant requirements of the joint prevention and control mechanism of the State Council and the study and decision of the municipal epidemic prevention and control headquarters, Yingqian Village, Zhuqiao Town, Pudong New area, is listed as a medium-risk area, and the risk level in other areas of Shanghai remains unchanged.
