COMEX Silver Futures maintenance margin requirement increased by 11.1%

SMM: Chicago Exchange Group (CME GROUP) raised the maintenance margin of COMEX5000 silver futures by 11.1% to $10000 per hand, up from $9000 per hand before.

According to CME, the initial margin is 110 per cent of the maintenance margin. The new margin requirements will take effect after the close of trading on July 28, 2020.
