Social inventories of primary aluminium ingots in China continued to fall over the weekend, depleted by stable demand and limited arrivals.

SHANGHAI, May 25 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium ingots in China continued to fall over the weekend, depleted by stable demand and limited arrivals.

SMM data showed that social inventories of primary aluminium ingots across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, decreased 55,000 mt from last Thursday May 21 to 924,000 mt as of Monday May 25.

Details:

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 373,000 mt

Shanghai – 128,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 184,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 52,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 111,000 mt

Tianjin – 58,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 8,000 mt

Chongqing –11,000 mt
