At the meeting, SMM interviewed Pan Baowen, vice president of Guangdong Gold Aluminum Light Alloy Co., Ltd., Pan said that Guangdong Gold Aluminum Light Alloy Co., Ltd. is the only company in South China and the largest manufacturer specializing in aluminum alloy reverse extrusion. Our company's main products are aluminum alloy seamless aluminum tube, solid bar, plate and some profile products. Customers mainly include automotive, optical some areas of high-end customers. The company currently has six to seven Japanese customers. Including large international manufacturers such as Kyocera and Honda in Japan. Customers mainly focus on gold and aluminum over the years in the field of aluminum alloy reverse extrusion technology accumulation and brand experience. SMM:, can you give me a brief introduction to your company? What are the main products? What is the leading edge in the industry?

Pan Baowen: Guangdong Gold Aluminum Light Alloy Co., Ltd. is the only manufacturer in South China and the largest manufacturer specializing in aluminum alloy reverse extrusion. Our company's main products are aluminum alloy seamless aluminum tube, solid bar, plate and some profile products. Customers mainly include automotive, optical some areas of high-end customers.

Which well-known companies are SMM: currently working with? What aspects of your company did they choose to work with you?

Pan Baowen: the company currently has six to seven Japanese customers. Including large international manufacturers such as Kyocera and Honda in Japan. Customers mainly focus on gold and aluminum over the years in the field of aluminum alloy reverse extrusion technology accumulation and brand experience. SMM:, is there any way or experience for your company to keep moving forward for a long time?

Pan Baowen: there are two main points we share today. One point is that our gold and aluminum pay attention to customer first. Customer supremacy is more than just verbal. We regard the needs of our customers as the only basis for our existence of gold and aluminum. The second point is that we always maintain an innovative mentality, pay attention to market changes, always pay attention to the changes in customer demand for products, and then constantly innovate ourselves.

SMM: as far as you know, what is the current consumption situation downstream of the aluminum market?

Pan Baowen: as far as we know, the current market consumption is not very ideal. The auto market, including China, has been on a downward trend for 18 months compared with the same period last year. In addition, demand for consumer electronics, such as mobile phones, is flagging. It is understood that in the past six months, many of our peers have stopped nearly half of their machines. So the current market situation is very uncertain.

With the implementation of the policy of reducing fuel consumption by automobile manufacturers, SMM: has become an important breakthrough for major car companies. What do you think is the impact of automobile lightening on the aluminum industry?.

Pan Baowen: I think it is a great opportunity for the industry to lighten the weight of cars. At present, many aluminum factories in China also talk about the demand for lightweight aluminum. But as far as I know, there are very few qualified aluminum factories. The first is the incomplete certification of the quality management system; the second is the lack of stable and sustainable supply of management capacity and supporting equipment.

SMM: as far as you know, has the Sino-US trade war had an impact on the industry? Does the enterprise have anything to express?

The Sino-US trade war has had a great impact on China's overall economy and the aluminum industry. Now aluminum enterprises can be described as "poor people". Many peers have more than half of their production capacity idle, and the end market is flagging. Although our company began in June, orders gradually resumed, but the situation of other peers is not optimistic. In the end, we still hope that China will survive this trade war.
