SHANGHAI, Jul 1 (SMM) – Zinc social inventories expanded during the weekend as arrivals from smelters remained stable and downstream purchases waned after stockpiling on lower prices last week.
SMM data showed that social inventories of refined zinc across Shanghai, Tianjin and Guangdong accumulated by 3,400 mt from Friday June 28, and by 1,800 mt from Monday June 24, to stand at 155,500 mt as of Monday July 1.
