The adjustment lowered the listed price of praseodymium-neodymium oxide to 293,700 yuan/mt, down 7.2%

SHANGHAI, Apr 11 (SMM) – State-owned mining company China Northern Rare Earth (Group) lowered listed prices of light rare earth products for April, including praseodymium-neodymium oxide and praseodymium-neodymium metal, by over 7% from March, according to a notice on the company's website on Thursday April 11.

This came after lower VATs and sufficient supplies weighed on prices of light rare earth in China’s spot market.

The adjustment lowered the listed price of praseodymium-neodymium oxide to 293,700 yuan/mt, down 7.2% on the month, and that of praseodymium-neodymium metal to 370,000 yuan/mt, down 7.5% from March.

Listed prices of neodymium oxide also dropped 7.2%, to stand at 295,700 yuan/mt for April, and that of neodymium metal lost 7.5%, to 370,000 yuan/mt.

Prices of lanthanum oxide and cerium oxide remained flat from March, standing at 13,500 yuan/mt for April.
