SHANGHAI, Dec 10 (SMM) – China’s exports of stainless steel declined 11.45% month on month to stand at 278,400 mt in October, showed China Customs data.
In October, exports of most kinds of stainless steel products decreased while stainless strip exports increased by 16.37% from September to 18,700 mt.
Exports in January-October came in at 3.41 million mt, standing 2.79% higher than the same period last year, while exports of stainless steel plate/sheet coil went down 1.72% compared to a year ago, as Indonesia’s growing presence squeezed China’s market share.
