First Quantum Raises Stake in Minera Panama for Higher Copper Ore Output

SHANGHAI, Sept. 1 (SMM) –First Quantum announced Thursday that it has raised its stake in Minera Panama so as to increase copper ore production.

LME Copper Net Long Positions Grow for Six Consecutive Weeks

The company has raised stake in Minera Panama from 80% to 90% through purchase from South Korea’s LS-Nikko Copper.
