JISCO Brings Alpart Alumina Refinery in Jamaica Back Online After Years of Closure

JISCO, China’s state-owned industrial group, brought its Alpart alumina refinery back into production on June 21 after the plant had been idled for almost a decade.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 28 (SMM) –JISCO, China’s state-owned industrial group, brought its Alpart alumina refinery back into production on June 21 after the plant had been idled for almost a decade. 

On July 19, 2016, JISCO signed a deal with Rusal to take the refinery over.
