SHANGHAI, Jul. 22 (SMM) - Zhuzhou Smelter Group’s mid-year report shows it returned to profitability in the first half of this year, with net profit of 11.75 million yuan or 0.02 yuan per share, according to rednet.cn.
The company reduced zinc product output as it had promised. Its zinc output was 281,400 tonnes in the first six months of the year, 48.60% of that planned. Lead production was 58,500 tonnes, 53.67% of its annual plan.
It aims to produce 579,000 tonnes of lead and zinc this year.
