SHANGHAI, Jun. 14 (SMM) – On Monday’s night trading, SHFE 1609 tin moved below RMB 112,000/mt for most of the time after opening at RMB 112,000/mt, briefly touching RMB 112,070/mt. The contract ended the night session at RMB 111,670/mt.
On Tuesday, SHFE 1609 tin slid to RMB 110,660/mt after opening at RMB 111,280/mt. But prices rebounded in the afternoon on long buying, and finally closed up RMB 320/mt or 0.29% at RMB 111,890/mt. Trading volumes were up 1,628 lots to 11,692 lots, and positions were up 484 to 11,636. SHFE 1609 tin will head for RMB 114,000/mt if it breaks through RMB 112,000/mt, but will face downward pressure it fails to break through the mark.
