SHANGHAI, May 11 (SMM) – On Tuesday’s night trading, SHFE 1609 tin rose to RMB 109,600/mt after opening at RMB 108,500/mt, but then fell back to RMB 107,510/mt on short selling, and closed at RMB 109,400/mt.
On Wednesday, SHFE 1609 tin fluctuated above the daily moving average, and closed at RMB 109,550/mt. Trading volumes were down 11,910 lots to 26,656 lots, and positions were down 52 to 10,458.
Positions of SHFE 1605 tin, whose delivery date is nearing, were 7,984. SHFE 1605 tin will offer support to SHFE 1609 tin.
