SHFE Tin Prices Trade down (Mar. 23, 2016)

SHANGHAI, Mar. 23 (SMM) – SHFE 1605 tin opened at RMB 109,200/mt overnight before dipping to RMB 108,300/mt. The contract later bounced back to RMB 109,450/mt thanks to improved bullishness in market.

SHFE tin traced ferrous metal prices up to RMB 110,500/mt on Wednesday but later sank to RMB 109,600/mt owing to exit of longs, to end at RMB 109,040/mt, up RMB 50/mt. Trading volumes were 45,664 lots, rising 3,740 while positions fell 414 to 14,570.
