SHANGHAI, Dec. 23 (SMM) – SHFE 1605 nickel started at RMB 70,730/mt during Tuesday night trading session and then moved between RMB 70,700-70,900/mt. The contract fell back slightly in response to LME nickel before closing at RMB 70,330/mt.
SHFE nickel opened at RMB 703,300/mt for day trading Wednesday and moved between the 5 and 10-day moving averages, to end at RMB 70,220/mt, off 0.88%. Trading volumes reduced 74,630 to 779,000 lots whilst positions were up 23,676 to 393,000.
