Zijin Mining Put 3.3 Million-tpy Lead and Zinc Ore Processing Project into Trial Production

SHANGHAI, Sept. 23 (SMM) - Zijin Mining entered trial production of its 3.3 million-tpy lead and zinc ore processing project in Inner Mongolia’s Urat Rear Banner recently, bynrnews.com reports.

The project was commenced in 2009, and is scheduled for commissioning in the latter half of this year. Once operational, its daily ore processing capacity will reach 10,000 tonnes. The project’s zinc ore output will be 70,000 tpy (zinc content), with lead ore output of 10,000 tpy (lead content) and 360,000 tpy of standard sulfur.
