SHANGHAI, Sept. 6 (SMM) - Hulunbuir Chihong Mining, a subsidiary of Yunnan Chihong Zn&Ge, put its 140,000-tpy zinc smelter online two weeks ago, SMM understands.
The zinc smelter is now running at an 80% operating rate, and is expected to produce its first batch of refined zinc in early September.
