SHANGHAI, Apr. 7 (SMM) – SHFE 1507 tin opened at RMB 118,890/mt on Tuesday, and closed the day at RMB 118,860/mt. Trading volumes fell by 542 lots to 848 lots, with positions down 96 to 904 due mainly to exit of bulls.
Depressed US non-farm payrolls helped ease fear of an early interest rate hike, but debt issue in Greece will keep investors cautious. LME tin met resistance at the 5-day moving average, offering no support to SHFE tin. SHFE 1507 tin contract is expected to range RMB 118,000-119,000/mt during today’s night session.
