Tianjin Company to Invest 120.1M in LFP Battery Recycling Project, Adding 15K Tons Annual Capacity

The Administrative Approval Bureau of Jinghai District, Tianjin, issued a public notice on the acceptance of the environmental impact report for a Tianjin company’s LFP battery material deep processing project. According to the disclosure, the company plans to invest 120.1 million yuan to build the project, purchasing one crushing and sorting line and LFP mixed black mass deep processing equipment. The project will mainly crush and sort externally sourced waste LFP batteries, and further process part of the LFP mixed black mass obtained from the crushing and sorting. It will add an annual treatment capacity of 10,000 tons of waste LFP batteries and 5,000 tons of LFP mixed black mass.
