【SMM Aluminium Flash News】Jinfeng Keda: Project to produce 2 million aluminum alloy wheels for new energy vehicles annually goes into operation

On January 15th, the commissioning ceremony for Watson Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd.'s new factory was held in the Rayong Industrial Base, Thailand. This project, with an annual production capacity of 2 million aluminum alloy wheels for new energy vehicles, represents a total investment of 557 million yuan and construction began on June 20th, 2024. The new factory adopts a highly intelligent, end-to-end production model, covering the entire industrial chain from aluminum ingot smelting, wheel forming, precision machining to finished product testing.

[SMM Flash] SHFE data showed that on June 18, total registered cast aluminum alloy warrants amounted to 33,785 mt, a decrease of 2,170 mt from the previous trading day. Among them, the total registered in Shanghai was 2,956 mt, a decrease of 389 mt from the previous trading day; in Guangdong, 5,622 mt, a decrease of 483 mt; in Jiangsu, 7,775 mt, an increase of 0 mt; in Zhejiang, 11,211 mt, a decrease of 817 mt; in Chongqing, 5,376 mt, a decrease of 481 mt; in Sichuan, 845 mt, an increase of 0 mt.
