In January 2025, the prices of certain steel products from Shougang will be adjusted as follows, based on the "Shougang Steel Products December 2024 Selling Price Policy": 1. The base price of HRC remains unchanged. 2. The base price of pickled coils remains unchanged. 3. The base price of cold-rolled coils remains unchanged. 4. The base price of hot-dip galvanized sheets remains unchanged. 5. The base price of aluminum-zinc and high-aluminum zinc-aluminum-magnesium coils remains unchanged. 6. The base price of color-coated sheets remains unchanged. 7. The base price of Chalco zinc-aluminum-magnesium products remains unchanged. 8. The base price of medium-thickness plates remains unchanged. 9. Electrical steel: the base price of both non-oriented and oriented types remains unchanged. The above adjustments are all tax-exclusive prices and will take effect from the date of issuance. The Marketing Center of Shougang Co., Ltd. reserves the right of final interpretation. This is hereby announced.

MMi Daily Iron Ore Report (May 15)

Today, the DCE Iron ore futures showed a weak trend today. The most-traded contract I2609 closed at 809.5 yuan/mt, down 0.67% from the previous trading session. [SMM Daily HRC Trading] On May 15, the total daily HRC trading volume of sample enterprises across SMM's four cities (Shanghai, Lecong, Tianjin, and Ningbo) was 13,680 mt, down 830 mt DoD (-5.7%), up 16.13% YoY (solar calendar), and down 15.14% YoY (lunar calendar).
