SMM believes DMC prices to stabilise next week as DMC plants suffer losses

At the beginning of the week, online DMC prices of enterprises in Shandong were 13,500 yuan/mt, holding stable and expected to decrease in the future. Leading producers kept DMC quotations stable, with the current quotation at 13,900 yuan/mt. Other domestic producers also kept DMC offers stable, with the current mainstream transaction prices at 13,600 yuan/mt.

SMM believes DMC prices to stabilise next week. Recently, due to the low inventory pressure, DMC plants have shown a willingness to lower prices to promote orders. However, they will keep prices stable next week amid losses. However, in mid-to-late July, DMC prices are expected to decline by about 300 yuan/mt.
